Our colleague Ciprian recently returned from Düsseldorf where Ropardo participated in the 12th Annual R&I Europe networking event. The two-day conference invites researchers and entrepreneurs from North Rhine-Westphalia and all other regions throughout Europe to find new research and innovation (R&I) partners for Horizon Europe projects.
The event featured over 400 registered participants from 30 countries, creating a dynamic environment for discussing the future of European research and innovation. Panel discussions, workshops, and one-on-one meetings provided valuable insights into emerging technological trends and funding opportunities within the Horizon Europe framework.
Ciprian actively engaged with potential consortium partners across multiple sessions, highlighting Ropardo’s technical capabilities and successful track record in collaborative research projects. We showcased our ongoing involvement in several significant EU-funded initiatives, including:
- DiMAT – a co-financed European research project, stands for Digital Modelling and Simulation for Design, Processing, and Manufacturing of Advanced Materials. Its scope is to develop Open Digital Tools with a set of advanced technologies for offering SMEs and Mid-Caps an affordable full modeling, simulation, and optimization system in each stage of the material value chain (design, processing, and manufacturing) for improving quality, sustainability, effectiveness, and competitiveness of materials.
- COMFORTAGE – a co-financed European research project, that aims to develop holistic and integrated healthcare models to foster personalized dementia and frailty preventions and interventions promoting individuals’ physical and mental health. ROPARDO’s task is to orchestrate the Virtual Health Platform (VHP) of the COMFORTAGE project (Integration of COMFORTAGE Platform and Tools). Our expertise is reflected in integrating AI pipelines, Personalized Decision Therapy (PDT), and Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) solutions, underpinned by our AI-as-a-Service and AI-on-Demand framework.
- DORIAN GRAY– this project investigates the link between cardiovascular disease (CVD) and Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) in the ageing population. As a technology partner in this high-impact research initiative, ROPARDO provides the health data acquisition framework through our roHealth platform. This cutting-edge solution allows seamless integration of diverse medical devices and data sources into a normalized data structure, making it a powerful foundation for medical research and AI-driven decision-making.
- FIT EDIH – is created by the community, for the community. A true catalyst for innovation and digitalization, covering a wide range of services, FIT aligns with the four main types of services specific to a DIH. As a result, the hub brings together the entire ecosystem under a shared mission of accelerated progress toward digitalization and the adoption of emerging technologies.
These projects exemplify our commitment to research that addresses real-world challenges through technological innovation.
With our strong background in international R&D and EU-funded innovation initiatives, we used this opportunity to meet potential partners, explore promising research directions, and strengthen our position as a reliable research collaborator in Europe.
