On Thursday, November 8th 2007, the conference Identity-Based Tracking and Web-Services (TraSer) will take place at the Continental Forum Hotel in Sibiu. The event is organized by the Sibiu-based software house Wittmann&Partner in collaboration with its partners, the Computer and Automation Research Institute within the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the company INNOTEC.

Sibiul was chosen as event site because it represents a powerful industrial pole.
The presentations and discussions will be centered around news, examples and demonstrations regarding the use of RFID technology and ERP solutions integrated with RFID for data and product tracking. Therefore, the TraSer conference has as target audience managers in charge with production, quality and logistics from food products producers, industrial production, logistics and transportation.
Implementing this type of logistic systems is eligible for EU financing through structural funds.
