2014 marks the 9th edition of HSE

May 30th, 2014 – The Department of Computers and Electric Engineering within the Engineering Faculty of Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu organized the 9th edition of the Hardware and Software Engineering (HSE) – contest of projects in Computer Science and Engineering for which ROPARDO has been a constant partner and sponsor over the nine editions so far.

The contest is made of four sections: two for students – Hardware, Software, and two for high school pupils – Software, Electronics. Students and pupils participated to the section they entered with projects created and presented individually or in groups. They were evaluated by a committee of professors and awarded three main prizes and three mentions.

ROPARDO was one of the main sponsors of the contest, awarding the third prize for the software section and thematic packs for all participants. As a novelty this year Ropardo was the first sponsor in the history of the contest to propose and award a special prize for the most original project.  In this sense we also appointed one of our engineers to evaluate the projects together with the committee of professors.

Throughout the entire duration of the contest students were provided with access to information about Ropardo Training Academy addressing students who are looking for real opportunities to gain experience in a job-like environment with application in their area of interest.
