Wittmann&Partner is nominated for the European ICT Prize

Wittmann&Partner has been selected as Nominee for the European ICT Prize, the most prestigious European Prize for innovative ICT products (information and communication technologies).

iGDSS – the group decision support system is one of 70 Prize Nominees selected out of 450 applications from 30 countries. The proposals were evaluated by independent experts from 16 European countries, nominated by Euro-CASE, who selected 70 Prize Nominees. Ciprian Candea, founder and General Manager of Wittmann&Partner, says: “Since 1999, we have been following the strategic objective of bringing to the EU market innovative software as a result of investment in research. This recognition of our efforts is a great moment for the entire team.”

How the European ICT prize is awarded

The Winners and Grand Prize Winners will be revealed on 16th March, in a ceremony that takes place at CeBIT 2007, one of the world’s major ICT events, in Hanover , Germany . European Commissioner Viviane Reding will award the prizes. The three Grand Prize Winners each walk away with ?200,000.
