For research department (led by Gabriela Candea) of Ropardo SRL has become a habit to engage in research projects with European co-financing.

The newest project from portfolio is called S-MC-S.

“Sustainable Mass Customization – Mass Customization for Sustainability” has started on May 1, 2010. The S-MC-S project aims to support European manufacturing to adapt to global competitive pressure by developing methods and innovative enabling technologies towards a customer oriented and eco-efficient manufacturing.

In the project consortium are 13 organizations: research institutes, universities, industrial companies from: Italy, Germany, Romania, Switzerland, France, Spain and Mexic.

Based on Ropardo’s expertise in software development for production industry, our main contribution in this project will be materialized through software development activities, dissemination of information, testing and validation the new software.
