The 31st edition of the InfoLiceanul competition, held from April 22-26, 2024, in Sibiu, marked another milestone for the all those involved. Ropardo, one of the organizers and the sole sponsor of the event, was delighted to once again support this competition dedicated to high school students passionate about technology, programming, and robotics.

A Tradition of Trustworthy Partnership

For 31 years, Ropardo has been at the forefront of initiatives supporting education and innovation in IT. Over the years, we have collaborated with prestigious institutions such as the “Avram Iancu” Technological High School, the “Samuel von Brukenthal” National College in Sibiu, and the County School Inspectorate, our constant and trusted partners. This year, we were also pleased to have the support of the ASTRA County Library and “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu, contributing to an exceptional educational and competitive environment for young participants.

A Competition Full of Energy and Innovation

The competition brought together over 70 students from various counties, including Sibiu, Buzău, Aiud, Vâlcea, Suceava, Bucharest, and Mediaș, competing in three essential challenges: Robotics, Software Creativity, and Programming. Each of these challenges provided students with an opportunity to showcase their skills and explore their creativity.

  • Robotics: Students had the chance to build and optimize robots, testing their technical knowledge and teamwork skills. It was a spectacle of innovation and ingenuity.
  • Software Creativity: Imagination was the star, with innovative projects such as “Cobzar,” “AI Trainer,” and “The Search of the Time Travelling Dog” captivating the jury’s attention.
  • Programming: Using C++, students solved complex problems proposed by our team, demonstrating their technical skills and passion for programming.
