08.07.2005 Press conference about the implication of OXSY team and Wittmann & Partner in RoboCup2005

Presentation of Oxygen Systems team as a participant at the final RoboCup 2005 phase 
Wittmann & Partner Computer Systems, in collaboration with Oxygen Systems team organizes a press conference with the theme “Presentation of OXSY (Oxygen Systems) team as a participant at the final phase at RoboCup 2005 (The Robot World Cup Initiative)“. The objective of the conference is to deliver information about the implication of OXSY team and Wittmann & Partner in the RoboCup research project.

The press conference will take place Friday, 8 July 2005, in the Conference Room of the District Stadium F.C. Sibiu. In the frameworks of the conference soccer games between robots from the last years RoboCup competitions will be transmitted.

The OXSY (Oxygen Systems) team constitution is: BS – Eng. Sebastian Marian, the leader of the team, MS – Eng. Ciprian Candea and BS – Eng. Dorin Luca, the last two being members of Wittmann & Partner Computer Systems company.

The annual evaluation of the research activity developed by research centers in the entire world is accomplished by the means of the Robot World Cup Soccer Games and Conferences event, which is the most important competition in the robotics and artificial intelligence. In the context of the contest, the research centers confront robot teams coordinated by the means of software programs in the framework of soccer competitions. This year, RoboCup competition will take place between 13 and 17 July, at Osaka, in Japan and the scientific symposium, associated to the competition will take place between 18 and 19 July.
